- Changes to This Shipping Policy
1. General Information
This Shipping Policy explains how shipping is handled by REGENTEC in connection with our automotive component restoration and regeneration services and the sale of REGENTEC-regenerated automotive components through eBay.
REGENTEC operates two main shipping models:
A. Customer-owned components sent to REGENTEC for regeneration
The customer sends their own automotive component to REGENTEC. After the agreed restoration or regeneration service has been completed, REGENTEC returns the regenerated component to the customer.
B. REGENTEC-regenerated products sold through eBay
REGENTEC also sells selected professionally regenerated automotive components through its eBay store. These products are shipped from REGENTEC to customers in Poland and internationally, subject to the shipping options and destinations available for the individual eBay listing.
PART A — REGENERATION SERVICES
2. Sending Customer-Owned Components to REGENTEC
When purchasing or arranging a regeneration service, the customer is responsible for sending the component to:
REGENTEC
Długa 15, 05-092 Łomianki, Poland
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for:
- arranging transportation to REGENTEC;
- selecting the carrier;
- paying the cost of transportation to REGENTEC;
- appropriate packaging;
- providing accurate shipping information;
- completing required export and customs formalities where applicable.
The customer may use any reputable carrier capable of safely transporting the component to REGENTEC.
3. Packaging of Customer Components
Components must be packaged appropriately for transportation.
The customer should ensure that:
- the component is securely protected against movement;
- fragile elements are adequately protected;
- sharp edges cannot damage the packaging;
- heavy components cannot move freely inside the package;
- appropriate protective materials are used;
- fluids, fuel, oils or other hazardous substances are removed where applicable.
The customer is responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging during transportation to REGENTEC.
4. Damage or Loss During Shipment to REGENTEC
The customer is responsible for the shipment until the component has been delivered to REGENTEC.
Where the customer independently arranges transportation, claims concerning loss or damage occurring during transportation should normally be made against the relevant carrier by the customer.
REGENTEC recommends using:
- tracked transportation;
- appropriate shipping insurance;
- suitable packaging;
- photographic documentation of the component before shipment.
5. Technical Inspection After Delivery
Delivery of a component to REGENTEC does not automatically mean that the requested regeneration service can be performed.
After receiving the component, REGENTEC may perform a technical inspection.
If the actual condition of the component differs materially from the information or photographs previously supplied, the scope or price of the service may need to be revised.
Where additional chargeable work is required, REGENTEC will normally contact the customer before proceeding.
If a component cannot be safely or reliably regenerated, REGENTEC may decline to perform the service.
6. Return Shipping of Regenerated Components
After completion of the agreed regeneration service, REGENTEC will return the customer’s component to the delivery address provided by the customer.
Where return shipping is included in the agreed service price:
- REGENTEC will arrange the shipment;
- the component will be appropriately packaged;
- tracking information will be provided where available.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
7. Return Shipping Costs
The cost of return shipping is included only where expressly stated in the individual quotation, service offer or order confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- shipping the customer’s component to REGENTEC is paid by the customer;
- return shipping from REGENTEC to the customer is included where stated in the agreed service price;
- additional costs resulting from circumstances attributable to the customer may be charged separately.
Additional costs may arise where:
- an incorrect delivery address was provided;
- delivery is refused;
- the parcel is not collected;
- the shipment is returned to REGENTEC;
- additional delivery attempts are required;
- customs or carrier charges arise because required information was not provided.
PART B — REGENTEC PRODUCTS SOLD THROUGH EBAY
8. Sale of REGENTEC-Regenerated Products
REGENTEC sells selected professionally regenerated automotive components through its eBay store.
These products may include, depending on availability:
- regenerated suspension components;
- regenerated hubs and related components;
- restored mechanical components;
- restored classic automotive components;
- professionally refinished automotive parts;
- other regenerated or restored components offered through our eBay listings.
Products displayed on the REGENTEC website through the eBay integration are presented for information and promotional purposes.
The actual purchase is completed through eBay.
The relevant eBay listing specifies the product, price, available shipping options, destination restrictions and other applicable purchase conditions.
9. Shipping of eBay Orders
After an eBay order has been successfully placed and paid for, REGENTEC prepares the purchased product for shipment in accordance with the shipping method selected or offered for that listing.
Depending on the destination and shipping method, REGENTEC may use:
- postal services;
- courier services;
- international parcel carriers;
- eBay-supported international shipping solutions;
- other appropriate logistics providers.
Tracking information will be provided where available.
The actual delivery time depends on the selected shipping service, destination and carrier.
10. International eBay Shipments
REGENTEC offers international shipping for eligible eBay products.
The countries and destinations available for a particular product may vary depending on:
- product dimensions and weight;
- carrier restrictions;
- destination-country regulations;
- customs requirements;
- eBay shipping policies;
- restrictions applicable to individual products.
The shipping options and estimated delivery information available through the relevant eBay listing or checkout should be treated as the applicable information for that transaction.
eBay’s international shipping programs may provide international shipping and customs-clearance services depending on the program and destination. Where such a program applies, the relevant eBay terms govern those services.
11. Customs Duties and Import Taxes for eBay Orders
Customers purchasing REGENTEC products internationally may be required to pay import duties, taxes, customs charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.
The responsibility for such charges depends on:
- the destination country;
- the applicable local regulations;
- the shipping method;
- the eBay program used for the transaction;
- whether duties and taxes are collected at checkout or upon delivery.
Where eBay collects applicable import charges at checkout under the relevant shipping or tax arrangement, the amount will be presented to the buyer through eBay.
Where charges are payable upon delivery, the buyer may be responsible for paying them to the relevant carrier or customs authority. eBay’s international selling guidance confirms that customs duties and fees can depend on the shipping method and local law.
REGENTEC cannot control customs charges imposed by the destination country.
12. Customs Documentation for eBay Orders
REGENTEC will provide accurate information required for the shipment of products sold through eBay.
Customers must provide accurate delivery and, where required, customs-related information.
Customers must not request that REGENTEC:
- underdeclare the value of a shipment;
- falsely describe the product;
- declare a commercial shipment as a gift;
- provide inaccurate customs information;
- otherwise misrepresent the transaction.
Customs declarations must reflect the actual nature and value of the transaction.
REGENTEC may refuse a shipment where required customs information cannot be provided accurately or where shipping the product would violate applicable laws, regulations, carrier requirements or eBay policies.
PART C — INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS COOPERATION
13. Shipments of Customer-Owned Components for Regeneration
When a customer sends their own component to REGENTEC from a country outside the European Union customs territory, customs formalities may apply when the component enters the EU.
Similarly, customs procedures may apply when the regenerated component is subsequently returned to the customer outside the EU.
EU customs legislation provides special procedures for goods temporarily imported into the EU for processing or repair, as well as procedures for EU goods temporarily exported for processing and subsequent re-importation. The appropriate procedure depends on the individual circumstances and applicable customs requirements.
14. Mutual Cooperation in Customs Procedures
For international shipments involving customs formalities, the customer and REGENTEC must cooperate and exchange the information and documentation reasonably required to complete the relevant customs procedures.
This may include:
- accurate description of the component;
- part number;
- vehicle make and model;
- proof of ownership where required;
- purpose of shipment;
- confirmation that the component is being sent for restoration, repair or regeneration;
- declared value;
- invoices or pro forma documentation;
- previous customs documentation;
- customs reference numbers;
- information concerning the regeneration service;
- information requested by customs authorities, carriers or customs brokers.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information concerning the component and its origin.
REGENTEC will provide information reasonably available to it concerning the regeneration service, processing and return shipment.
Both parties agree to cooperate in good faith and respond reasonably promptly when additional information is required.
Failure to provide the required information may result in:
- customs delays;
- additional storage charges;
- additional customs or brokerage fees;
- return of the shipment;
- inability to complete the customs procedure.
15. Customs Responsibility
The party responsible for a particular customs obligation may depend on the applicable customs procedure, country of origin, destination, shipping arrangement and applicable law.
REGENTEC will not intentionally misrepresent a customer’s component as a commercial sale when it is actually being sent to REGENTEC for regeneration.
At the same time, the customer must provide accurate information regarding ownership, origin, value and purpose of shipment.
Where a specific customs procedure requires additional documentation or action from either party, both parties are expected to cooperate to the extent reasonably necessary.
16. Customs Delays
REGENTEC is not responsible for delays caused by:
- customs inspections;
- customs authorities;
- incomplete documentation;
- inaccurate information;
- unpaid duties or taxes;
- carrier or customs broker delays;
- import restrictions;
- additional controls imposed by the destination country.
REGENTEC will make reasonable efforts to cooperate with customers, carriers and customs representatives to facilitate the shipment.
PART D — DELIVERY
17. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
For regeneration services, total project time may include:
Customer → REGENTEC → Technical Inspection → Regeneration → Quality Control → Return Shipping → Customer
For eBay purchases, delivery time generally begins after the order has been successfully processed and the product has been dispatched.
International deliveries may take longer because of customs clearance and local carrier procedures.
18. Failed or Uncollected Deliveries
If a shipment cannot be delivered because:
- an incorrect address was provided;
- the customer refuses delivery;
- the parcel is not collected;
- required customs formalities are not completed;
- applicable duties or taxes are not paid;
- required information is not provided;
the customer may be responsible for additional shipping, storage, customs, brokerage or handling costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Damaged Deliveries
If a customer receives a package that appears damaged, the customer should:
- photograph the external packaging;
- photograph the damage;
- retain the packaging;
- contact REGENTEC as soon as reasonably possible;
- provide photographs and shipment details.
For eBay purchases, the customer should also follow the applicable eBay procedure for damaged or undelivered items.
REGENTEC will cooperate with the relevant carrier and, where applicable, eBay in investigating the shipment.
20. Shipping Restrictions
REGENTEC may restrict or exclude shipping to certain countries or destinations where:
- carriers do not provide an appropriate service;
- customs requirements cannot reasonably be fulfilled;
- import restrictions apply;
- sanctions or export restrictions apply;
- the product cannot legally be transported;
- the shipment presents an unacceptable safety or compliance risk.
Shipping availability is determined on an individual basis and may change without prior notice.
21. Responsibility for Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
REGENTEC is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, subject to mandatory statutory rights.
For eBay purchases, the delivery address provided through the eBay transaction will be used in accordance with the applicable eBay and carrier procedures.
22. eBay Terms
Shipping, delivery, returns and buyer protection for products purchased through eBay are also subject to the applicable eBay terms, policies and the individual listing.
Where an eBay shipping program is used, its specific terms may govern international shipping, customs clearance, tracking and related services.
In the event of a conflict between this Shipping Policy and mandatory eBay rules applicable to a particular eBay transaction, the applicable eBay rules will govern that transaction.
